About our Engine Room Ratings Course

  1. The program duration is 11 weeks.

  3. Ratings will have the same living conditions as students at the university.
  4. The cost of training will initially be carried by EMTI. A loan agreement will be concluded on course to re-pay the study loan once you are earning money at sea.
  5. The course qualifies successful students to act as a team member in the engine room under the leadership of the Officer-in-Charge of the Engineering Watch. Our course prepares the successful student for both these jobs. Generous salaries are compatible with current market levels in the maritime industry.
